With record breaking temperatures in March Spring has defintely sprung here in the garden - the daffodils are in full bloom and the crops that survived the not so extreme winter are now coming to fruition
The brief wonder of purple sprouting broccolli is in the garden and the onions we planted last September are doing well - hopefully they will give us a good crop of bunched onions in June
We have also planted some new apple and pear trees in the garden - our apple juice remains as popular as ever and so we can never have enough trees!
Dad and I also had fun replacing the glass in the old greenhouse with polycarbonate sheets - this completes the restoration of the greenhouse that we moved from the old Walworth site and massively improves its appearance and usefulness to us:
We have also built some tables with soil warming cable within them so that we can grow a lot more of our own seedlings - already under way are the tomatoes, aubergines and peppers
Lets hope that winter does not return with a vengeance ass predicted this week!
